Characteristics, Uses, and Fun Facts
No sunny border would be complete without the familiar presence of Shasta Daisies. Shasta Daisies are a mainstay of the perennial border or cutting garden and provide long-lasting summer and early fall color. Shasta Daisies are a fantastic nectar source for butterflies.
Easily grown in average, well-drained soil in full sun, but will do fine in average garden soil. They will even take light shade in the heat of the summer. Removing dead flowers will encourage the plants to continue flowering. Divide clumps every 2-3 years to maintain vigor and plant health.
