Characteristics, Uses, and Fun Facts
False Spirea is an excellent perennial for the shade garden that thrives in moist to average garden soils. Feathery plumes of flower clusters are borne on tall stalks above the glossy green foliage. Flowers come in shades of white, pink, and red, staying in bloom several weeks and slowly fading in color as they dry. They are great companions for ferns and hostas, and some of the showiest flowers that will thrive in full or partial shade.
